Chiropractor Roxane Zamora D.C.
Dr. Zamora is a graduate of Palmer College in Davenport Iowa, the birthplace of chiropractic.
Dr. Zamora also holds a Bachelors of social work and a Masters of social work. She was a practicing psychotherapist in the mental health field, and provided therapy for clients with mental health issues, substance abuse concerns, families dynamics and was the Supervisor of a Sexual Assault Counseling Services.
She felt that the mental health field became more about pharmacology than psychology, and it no longer resonated with her and she decided to pursue other ways to help people.
She and her family had always gone to chiropractors as the primary health care provider and it made sense that to help people you need to look to the root cause and not merely treat symptoms of depression and other health conditions.
She knew chiropractic was the answer. Remove what is causing the body to have a disturbance and the body will heal! She returned to school at Palmer College of Chiropractic and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Upon graduation she practiced at one of the largest chiropractic practices with Dr. Charles Majors, the World renown author of the book, Cancer Killer. After a year, she moved to Phoenix Arizona to open her own practice and has been in the same spot since moving there.
While in Illinois she was the chiropractor for the Association of Volleyball Professional (AVP) in Chicago during the Crocs tournament.
Currently, her practice is very diverse and she provides chiropractic care to NFL players, Olympic weightlifters, professional golfers, women during pregnancy, infants and children. Her patients range from 1 week old infants to 91 years young.
